AGRICULTURAL SECTOR
The agricultural sector makes extensive use of profiles and gratings. These products are used, for example, in floor and roof constructions, stairs and landings. Composite, or fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP), profiles and gratings have many advantages compared to, for example, metal ones. They have a very long life of more than 50 years, do not rust and are resistant to chemicals. These properties are particularly interesting for use as a girder system or profile, walkway and floor gratings, which come into frequent contact with manure and chemicals.
Other advantages of using fiberglass reinforced plastic gratings and profiles are the quick and easy installation, the fact that the material requires little maintenance and the strength of the material in combination with a very light weight. Composite gratings and profiles are therefore very easy to handle.
