ENERGY SECTOR
Composite profiles and gratings are widely used in the energy sector. This is not surprising, because these products made of fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) have many properties that are very attractive for this sector. They have excellent properties in terms of resistance, thermal and electrical insulation and protection against corrosion (both by weathering and by direct and stray currents). This makes the pultruded profiles a better option than traditional materials for installing and maintaining system support structures.
It should be clear: the light weight, ease of use and the fact that earthing is not necessary, makes composite profiles and gratings a good choice for the energy sector. It is not without reason that FRP is often used for cable ducts, for reinforcement in structures and on platforms or landings.
